"He abused me; he
laughed me; he struck me." Thus, one thinks and as long as one
having
such thoughts, one's anger continues. Anger will never disappear as long
as thoughts of resentment are in the mind. Anger will only
disappear as soon as thoughts of resentment are forgotten.

Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness.
If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety, or possessions

The Buddha said that when we dedicate merit, it is like adding a drop of water
to the ocean. Just as a drop of water added to the ocean will not dry up
but will exist as long as the ocean itself exists, so, too, if we dedicate the
merit of any virtuous deed, it merges with the vast ocean of merit that
endures until enlightenment.
